Leadership and Innovation

An excellent article of a GM from the Oakland A's. Here.

George Foreman wants to Box Again

George said, “I could have said ‘Let’s ride around in the Bentley or the Rolls’ — but I’m not doing that. That’s no adventure. You’ve got to keep functioning, keep producing.”

New website update

I just updated Midwest Planting. If you have time, check it out and tell me what you think about the layout. Thanks.

Help

Becky McSherry is a friend of mine's sister. She is 30 years old, dying of Lupus, has two small children. There is an experimental treatment that has been very successful but insurance won't touch it because it is experimental... and very expensive - $100,000.

They are asking for some help. I know the family. This is for real. Danelle and I are sending what we can. Danelle and I have stayed in their family's home. We've met Becky. You don't want to judge who is deserving, but often we do wonder. Becky is deserving.

Check out the website for more info. It is all legit.

Mailblocks

Mailblocks is where we are headed to block email spam. I'll probably have to go to something like this in the next year. I get about 400 spam emails a day. I use spamihilator, but it isn't perfect. I miss some emails.

Phillip Telfer

My friend Phillip is looking for some places to play his music. He isn't asking for anything but an opportunity. His website is www.philliptelfer.com. I may try to bring him down in April or May and see if I can get him into some coffee houses as well as some area churches. There are sample MP3's linked at the bottom of his page and in some of the album links.
