Having trouble with my dell Studio XPS 1640. The screen shorts out if not just at the right angle. Found this company that repairs for $100 flat plus parts. Update: Parts people finally got it to work. But it took three strikes. 1. They didn't have the cable. They are the PARTS people. 2. When I got it back, the screen was still shorting out. I think they put in the new cable but didn't make the connections firm enough. 3. When I got it back again, they had forgot to put my battery in. I have it back now and it is working, but three strikes is usually an out.
