Trust as a Core Value
Is trust a core value? It seems obvious it should be, but it doesn't take much exploration to want to take it off the list. We want to trust those doing ministry in our church. That isn't too hard. People need to take risks, make mistakes, and not lose trust.

On the other hand, I think of the Needs Team in our church making decisions of who to help financially and who not. Many will "play the system" and get as much money from us as possible without any lifechange.

Maybe the core value is "trust in the team" as it relates to the Holy Spirit.
