Ministry Nightmare

We want to help. That's all. We just want to help. Give us something simple enough to do that will change your life. But... open up the lid and you find a can of worms (which doesn't even seem close to the analogy I'm looking for.)

Problems are deep. You don't have to look very far to see some major leakage -- addictions, hatred, lack of self control, legal problems, money problems, and on and on and on.

You think the person just needs to start living right, but often it is close to impossible. You can easily get into so much financial debt that it is next to impossible to escape it. Try getting out of the purchase of a new vehicle.

We just wanted to help, but we find ourselves bailing water on the Titanic.

I'm not giving up. In fact, if anything I'm looking for some context to place some of my leaders' emotions.
