Rob Smith asked me about Rob Bell, pastor of the Mars Hill Bible Church in Michigan. I want to give (and research) some background on Rob and a few other names that are beginning to rise, such as NT Wright, DA Carson, and John Piper. Perhaps we will see how they are connected to other names I am more familiar with such as Brian McLaren, Chris Seay, Mark Driscoll, and Doug Pagitt.

Watched one of his short videos in S.S. this week. Very interesting, a different approach that kept me watching and asking myself questions.
I really like his new book, called "Velvet Elvis" or something like that.
A quick read, but good stuff.
